During this complimentary digital vehicle inspection our technicians will:

Start with a road test – Every vehicle is road tested by our technicians before we perform any inspection or repair to ensure all systems are operating as they should. We are checking for: proper brake operation, noises, squeeks, rattles, engine performance, alignment, steering, suspension, heat/AC, warning lights, transmission performance, and the overall safety and performance of your vehicle.
Check functioning items in the vehicle: windows, wipers, heat, AC, check all glass, door hinges, door locks, horn, all lights and much more.
Check items under the hood: oil level, coolant level, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, top off washer fluid, check hoses and belts, check for leaks, test the battery, air filter and cabin air filter. Our technicians will check everything under the hood with their trained eyes and expertise.
Check items under the vehicle: front and rear brakes pads, brake lines and hoses, rotors and calipers, suspension items (control arms, suspension, struts, steering components, and bushings), tires, exhaust, wheels for any damage or bends, wheel bearings, tie rods, tie rod boots, and any under body leaks

Once The Digital Vehicle Inspection is Complete:

Once the technician has completed the digital vehicle inspection our service advisor will then compile the digital report, email or text your detailed vehicle inspection results straight to your phone or computer, then will follow up with a phone call to review the report.

After the work has been approved by the customer, the technician will use the tablet to be informed of what work is to be done and what parts are needed. As the technician completes each task they will mark it off as completed which will then notify the service advisor. This ensures good communication with the customer to make sure we are on track to complete the car during our promised time or if we need to extend that time and inform the customer. AutoVitals also helps us keep in touch with the customer. We will send out automated text messages and emails to help keep our customers informed of what work is coming due after their current visit.
