We are proud to announce that Advanced Auto Clinic and NAPA Auto Parts in Delavan teamed up and raised $1,000 to donate to the Breast Cancer Recovery treatment center in Fitchburg Wisconsin during our 2021 “Putting the Brakes On Breast Cancer” fundraiser.
In the month of October Advanced Auto Clinic offered to donate $35 for every brake job completed and gave away FREE BRAKE PADS with every completed brake job! Thanks to everyone who came in and had a brake job performed in the month of October! We would also like to thank Megan and the Breast Cancer Recovery organization for all that they do. We are looking forward to doing this event again next year!

Helping women with breast cancer heal emotionally
While breast cancer tests and medical treatments are widely available, Breast Cancer Recovery is the only non-profit organization in Wisconsin and the first in the nation to offer retreats to women at all stages of breast cancer so they can begin to heal emotionally. Over Two decades later, our mission is as meaningful as ever.
Mission
Breast Cancer Recovery’s mission is to provide environments for women breast cancer survivors to heal emotionally. All programs are designed and conducted by survivors for survivors.
Programs
Breast Cancer Recovery offers wellness retreats- Infinite Boundaries- for women in all stages of breast cancer – newly diagnosed, in treatment and many years finished with treatment. Women ages 21 – 80 have attended our retreats. Breast Cancer Recovery also offers an annual educational program, Sharing the Knowledge.
History
Founded in 1997 by Ann Haney, Breast Cancer Recovery is a member of the Wisconsin Cancer Council, and the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition. Breast Cancer Recovery networks with hospital staff, breast cancer support groups, nursing and oncology nursing associations, and hospital auxiliaries throughout the state of Wisconsin, and the upper Midwest.
