October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and AAC WANTS TO HELP!
AAC’s 4th Annual “Putting the Brakes on Cancer” Fundraiser 🚗
We’re thrilled to announce our fourth consecutive year of supporting a vital cause, and for the second year, we’ve partnered with Breathe, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Lake Geneva, WI. Breathe, Inc. is dedicated to providing swift and direct financial resources for cancer patients, ensuring they can focus on living their best quality of life and planning for the future.
🌟 What’s New?
Building on the success of the past three years, where we teamed up with NAPA Auto Parts of Delavan, last year, we were able to donate $2,700 to Breathe, Inc. in conjunction with Veteran Vehicle Repair in Lake Geneva. This year, our goal is even more ambitious: we aim to raise more than last year!
💙 About Breathe, Inc.
Breathe, Inc. operates solely on grants and donations, never charging their clients for their invaluable services. They take pride in giving back to the community while keeping overhead costs minimal. Learn more at breatheinc.org
How Can You Help?
During the entire month of October, for every brake job completed at AAC, we will contribute $40 to Breathe, Inc. But that’s not all! As a token of our appreciation for your support, you’ll also receive a FREE set of brake pads with every completed job. Your contribution not only aids cancer patients by providing financial assistance but also helps them navigate the complex healthcare system and connects them to crucial cancer patient resources.

The Breath, Inc Cancer Organization in Lake Geneva, WI
Mission Statement
We journey alongside cancer patients, providing financial relief, healthcare navigation, and resources, allowing them to focus on living and Breathe a sigh of relief.
Breathe, Inc. strives to break barriers through educating our communities while helping our clients avoid the financial toxicity and emotional burdens a cancer diagnosis inflicts.
Financial & Housing Assistance for Cancer Patients
Breathe, Inc. was developed by two oncology social workers in rural Wisconsin. We were tired of offering sub-optimal assistance and resources for cancer patients, and knew we could do better, our health care facilities could do better, and our patients deserved more. With fire in our bellies and a determination to help, Breathe, Inc. was born.
Simply put, we think outside of the box. We are not confined to a specific cancer nor specific geography. We have over 44 years of expertise in clinical social work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our knowledge of specific cancers, crisis intervention skills, and healthcare navigation capabilities, allows us to predict what barriers our clients will face. This allows us to provide our clients with financial and emotional relief so they can focus on treatment and living.
We joined the community of Southern Wisconsin coalitions in August of 2022. We understand the emotional, physical, and financial burdens cancer causes, and we strive to lessen these stressors for our clients. We believe in having open and honest conversations about cancer and will journey alongside you to provide support every step of the way.
